History, with reasons
History shows the score over time and every change to it, with who made the change and why. If you disagree with a rating, you can change it, but you give a reason, and the reason goes on the record.
Why it matters
A risk-based approach only works if the firm can show how it reached each rating. Seeing the parts of the score, rather than one number, also makes it easier to spot when a rule is weighting the wrong thing.
